Sinopsis

Tolstoi (Plummer) se encuentra refugiado en su finca de Yásnia Poliana. Su vida se apaga lentamente mientras su esposa Sofía Andréievna (Mirren) y su principal discípulo, Vladimir Cherkov (Giamatti), se disputan el legado del autor.
